Surfer Blood

The great thing about the internet is the fact that you can always get something even before it's been made or released.In this case i managed to search through all the download sites to find the debut 'Astro coast' by Florida five-piece Surfer Blood.

At present theirs seems to be a rash of sailor boat shoe type wearing, denim short shorts bands of late like The Drums,Real Estate,Best Coast etc.

Surfer Blood are like them in the same sunny easy going musical sense but in all honesty the record from start to finish just play's beautifully.It has a touch of the harsh Cribs sounds for example the track 'Swim'.A touch of The Shins and also Vampire Weekend.
