The Twilight Sad released their follow up to their fantastic debut 'Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters' this week. Entitled 'Forget The Night Ahead' the Scottish group have got even darker and louder. The wall of noise is still their however it's beautiful contrasts with the addition of nostalgic sounding pianos, convention is also broken by 'Floorboards Under The Bed' which starts without an instrumentation just vocals. The lyrics are very dark and as James Graham explained it deal's with things he has got up to in the last couple of years that he is not proud of. A rare follow up that tops their acclaimed debut and moves them into darker territory.
Forget the night is out now
