London trio Not Cool have called it a day. Yesterday on the bands facebook page they announced the following split

Hi

Due to various circumstances including personal development, self loathing and various godly epiphanies we have decided to ‘call it a day,’ quit, split etc. We would like to thank everyone who put our songs out, bought a record, paid to see us play, shrugged their shoulders, said kind words or danced to our music.

We’ve been banging our heads against a wall for tooooooo long.

On Friday 18th of November we’ll be playing our final show. Details to follow.

Not Cool were our first London band who were willing to travel to sunny Wolverhampton and play one of the best set's we have ever seen. Rugged Raw is an outstanding seven track e.p that hit more of a chord with us  then anything we heard coming out of London at that time, It was just more honest and humble. You all need that record in your life. 
Having influences from a far as MF Doom to Pavement Not Cool are cool.

See you dudes on the 18^th November.

Sad but rad times indeed.It was our last ever show in Wolverhampton before it moves to Birmingham.A massive thank you to all who came down to show their amazing support and all the bands that played.

Well we are now one years old. And what a great day of celebration it was for all who came down. All I can say is the next birthday will have to be just as good.

So for those who are friends with us on Facebook you will have received the recent message about the Not Cool + The Heebie Jeebies show may be are very last in the city were it all started 'Wolverhampton'. This is indeed true,we are re-locating most of are show's to Birmingham.But a massive thank you to all the Black country heads who came to our show's and made them all rad.We will do some show's in Wolverhampton again maybe later in the year. It's just right now alot of act's we are booking are playing Birmingham. But keep an eye out for 'It's Christmas,like Noddy Holder sings special',will have some rad local act's for that one and loads of free mulled wine again.

So all come to Alchemy Bar on 30th Aug and cure that bank holiday hang-over with more cheap beer and rad music.We also have young stud's from New Young Blood playing tunes for us.
